Virtue in Danger is a musical comedy based on Sir John Vanbrugh’s celebrated Restoration comedy The Relapse. First produced in 1963, the musical features a book and lyrics by Paul Dehn, music by James Bernard, and musical direction by Michael Moores.
An original cast recording of Virtue in Danger was released by Decca Records in 1963, preserving the music from this musical adaptation of Vanbrugh’s play.
