Seaton Delaval Hall Celebrates Vanbrugh300
This VANBRUGH300 newsletter looks back on the successful launch of the anniversary celebrations at Seaton Delaval Hall, where architecture, performance, and community engagement came together to celebrate the life and legacy of Sir John Vanbrugh. Highlights include a vibrant programme of events such as projection artwork, family storytelling performances, and creative workshops, all of which brought fresh energy and accessibility to Vanbrugh’s work.
Alongside this, it reflects on commemorative events, including a special service at St Stephen Walbrook marking the 300th anniversary of Vanbrugh’s death, and The Georgian Group’s 2026 symposium, Vanbrugh: From Stage to Stone, which brought together leading voices to examine his enduring influence.
